Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire is holding amid movement violations

The Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire that took effect yesterday is largely holding - although thousands of displaced Lebanese began to return to southern villages before Israeli forces withdrew and lifted movement restrictions.

Displaced Lebanese began returning south before Israeli withdrawal and movement restrictions ended; Israeli troops fired on suspects and vehicles in at least six villages. Many displaced Israelis remained reluctant to return home.
