Putin says eastern Ukraine remains Russia’s priority despite Kursk incursion

“The enemy’s goal was to make us nervous and worry and to transfer troops from one sector to another and stop our offensive in key areas, primarily in the Donbas. Did it work or no? No.”

Vladimir Putin said Russia’s eastern Ukraine offensive remained its first-priority goal and that Ukraine’s Kursk operation had not forced the major Russian redeployment Kyiv sought.
